Problems with a hp surestore dlt autoloader 818
Hi, we can´t do the backup because the server made a blue screen and stop. The errors that appear are:
-In arcserve 2000: Error 6300, 6300 Windows NT SCSI PORT Error
-In hte blues screen appears this:
stop: 0x0000000A (0X00000004, 0X0000000A, 0X0000) IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Adrress 801f0786 has base at 801ea000 - aic78xx.sys.
- In the Event Viewer of win nt 4 server:
Event ID:9 - Source: aic78xx - Type: error - Category: none
Description: The device, \device\scsiport2, did not respond within the timeout period.
We recently have reinstalled the last service pack and the last drivers for the scsi controller. Anyone knows what the problem could be. Thanks very much

Re: Problems with a hp surestore dlt autoloader 818
I would suggest to install and run L&TT, run some communication test first, than other tests.
If you get problems, try to connect just one module of the autoloader to the sever at a time ( HBA >> cable >> drive >> terminator then another test with HBA >> cable >> robotic controller >> Terminator ) chck for bad cable or bad terminator.
remember to disable arserve services before to run L&TT
