Quantum Autoloader
I just purchased a SDLT320 Quantum Autoloader.
Does anyone know the driver that needs to be compiled into the kernal.
Thanks,
Martin

Re: Quantum Autoloader
Typically you add stape for the tape drive, and sctl for the autoloader (and schgr if you want it claimed in ioscan), but it depends on your backup app and how they talk to the autoloader controller.
If this is a quantum branded autoloader, you should consult their integration info.

Re: Quantum Autoloader
I checked the kernal and the required drivers are already in the kernal.
I called Quantum and they don't know anything.
However the Quantum Super loader is the same equipment as the HP SSL 1016 autoloader, Quantum makes it for HP.
My system does not see the autoloader, are there any known patches for 10.20 for these new tape loaders.
