Hi:
I am testing a combination of MSL8096 library (BTW: the part number that this library have is AU300A, that correspond to HP MSL8048 0-DR) with a LTO-7 drive (N7P36A). The library detect the drive but i can see in the OCP that the drive reflect unsupported drive!
Some idea about this?
Regards.

SolutionThe part number you list for the drive (N7P36A) looks correct for an MSL but the MSL 8048 never supported LTO-7 tape drives so it is likely that the firmware is detecting a drive that it doesn't know about. The MSL 8048 was discontinued and replaced with the MSL 6480 before LTO-7 was released.
There were a number of changes in the library/drive interface for LTO-7 that have to be supported by the library firmware.
