RHEL3, ProLiant DL380 G4, and DAT72 Drive problem.
Hello,
The operating system is not able to
detect the tape drive. How can I make
it work? Any help will be appreciated.
# mt -f /dev/st0 status
/dev/st0: No such device
# mt -f /dev/st1 status
/dev/st1: No such device
# mt -f /dev/tape status
/dev/tape: No such file or directory
Yet the device files are there?

Re: RHEL3, ProLiant DL380 G4, and DAT72 Drive problem.
I ended up contacting HP support and here is an email I got from them that fixes my problem: ( it is rather long So I guess I have to attach it)
