Random cleaning errors
I am using the Compaq DLT 15 Library (20/40 GB) with Legato Networker 5.5.1 and every once in a while I receive random messages from CIM that the drives needs cleaning. I will then receive another one saying it is ok.
I recently spoke to a Compaq technician that was on-site and he mentioned that there was a customer advisory that addresses this problem. He stated that apparently the issue is the way Networker configures the SCSI IDs of the tape drives and tape library.
If anyone can tell me where I can find this, I will greatly appreciate it.
