Regardign VS-80 firmware

Hi,
I am a service engineer for all kind of tape drives and in our process of providing service to the costumer we must have to upfrade the firmware also of the drive, but when I tried to upgrade the firmware of VS-80 which has the firmware as 63 or even older, I found that it was not happening, So can you help me with this.

Hi,

"Not happening" is not really a good description of the problem.

Please can you explain exactly what you did, and what happened when you did it !

It was not getting update and it was showing "updation failed", and I was updating by HPL&TT software, which we use to check all HP tape drive,
