Robotic arm not detected

DearAll,
I have installed the Netbackup server and releted licences. I am able to see the two drives drivers but robotic arm is not detected. I am having MSL 5030.

need help.

It is possible your Robotics is not chained properly or is not presented on the SCSI chain.

Jack,

And what is your OS?

Is it HPUX? Check then that the schgr driver is added to the kernel?

Is there an NSR router in the library? Check if you see the robot arm from the NSR web admin GUI.

Can you see the robot arm in the OS (ioscan -fnC autoch on HPUX or in the Windows Device Manager)?

Once you can see the robot arm using ioscan, you might need to create device files for the scsi passthru and/or sctl passthru drivers.

Thanks for the response. Got the Solution, I have created the device for the robotic arm.
