SC44Ge card cant see lto920 tape drive
i have a LTO920 SAS drive connected to a SC44Ge card. the card doesn't see the tape drive, either in bios or in Windows 2003 server. can anyone help?

The default BIOS settings on the SC44Ge card won't show the tape drive since it is not a bootable device in normal mode. You can go into the BIOS and check to see if the card is communicating with the drive and there is an option to report all devices during the BIOS scan.
You may just have a problem with Windows not correctly detecting the drive. Do any unknown devices show in the device manager? Can HP's L&TT utility find the drive?
