SS DLT VS80 problems with Arcserve 7.0
Hi,
we have problems with DLT VS80 and ArcServer 7.0.. Novel normaly recognize the DLT Drive but Arcserver doesn't recognize it. We already exchange the drive but problem is the same.
DLTVS80 is connected in server Acer altos 1200. The OS is Novell 5.1 (SP3) and backup software is Arcserve 7.0 for Netware Enterprise Edition.
Drive end SCSI controler;
HP Surestore DLT1 VS80 C7504A
Firmware Rev: V050/OEM2
Serial: SGD2B08472
SCSI kontroler Adaptec AIC-7899 z ADPT160M.HAM gonilnikom.
What we can still do?
Many Thanks
Borut

Re: SS DLT VS80 problems with Arcserve 7.0
Hello,
After reading about the AIC-7899...
Did you configure this card to behave as RAID or independant controllers? You have to configure it to be independant of the other, not as RAID.
HTH,
Vince
