Schedule a job to run when other job finishes

Hi All,

I'm looking for an automated way to have a backup job fired after another one finishes. I'm aiming at doing a database backup right after the previous full backup job has finished. Any idea on how to do this?

Can you explain about your setup ?

You can use any backup taking Software like HP Data Protector which can automat the backup process.

I have opened a call with HP and found the solution in calling the second backup job in a post-exec script. For archiving purposes the command to put in the script is: omnidb -datalist <name> -mode full -no_monitor

<name> represents an unscheduled backup job which only backups the IDB
