Storage-tek library conected to a sun

Omniback Master server, k200 running 10.20.
I have a client on my master, which is
a solaris 2.6 machine. I aslo have a
Storage-Tek 7430 robot attached to it
(single ended scsi). How do I configure
it on Omniback.
Please help. This would save my
company from obtaining Veritas
Netbackup.
Or does Omniback not see the device on the
solaris machine.

Unless your library is using StorageTek's ACSLS , you should select 'SCSI-II Library' as the lib type.

Hi there.
If possible, you should connect the library to the cellserver. For the backup you should connect the cellserver and the clients in a separate network. DOing the backup through the normal data network might just have a bit of inlfuence on the performance.
Remember, each drive needs its own interface.
