I have a client on my master, which is
a solaris 2.6 machine. I aslo have a
Storage-Tek 7430 robot attached to it
(single ended scsi). How do I configure
it on Omniback.
Please help. This would save my
company from obtaining Veritas
Netbackup.
Or does Omniback not see the device on the
solaris machine.

Re: Storage-tek library conected to a sun
If possible, you should connect the library to the cellserver. For the backup you should connect the cellserver and the clients in a separate network. DOing the backup through the normal data network might just have a bit of inlfuence on the performance.
Remember, each drive needs its own interface.
