SureStore 5300 tape array

Does anyone have the electrical specifications for these units? I am trying to spec out a new data center and need the amp/VA/BTU configurations for these (fully loaded)

Re: SureStore 5300 tape array

The Tape Array 5300 draws maximum power when it contains FOUR Ultrium 215 tape drive modules. All other combinations of drive take less power. The maximum power occurs when the units are writing data.

The figures are as follows:

240VAC/50Hz 125.4 Watts 0.59A 141.8VA 427.87 BTU

110VAC/60Hz 130.2 Watts 1.25A 138.1VA 444.25 BTU

This unit has dual power supplies and dual fans. It actually uses slightly less power with one power supply. Remember the VA figures allow for the power factor.

I hope this information is what you needed.

The unit is rated 100-240VAC 2A. This is recorded on the label which is on the rear of the unit.
