We have some problems with the SureStore Autoloader 1x9, The problem is with the compression, because when we specify the one device gives compression, the unit doesn??t use the compresion

Could you provide more details please? What is the drive technology? Three different drive types were used in the 1/9 and compression is different on each. How are you requesting compression? What kind of tapes are you using? Are the tapes new or used? If the tapes are not new the drive is probably using the compression setting already on the tapes. What are you using to determine if compression is on or off?
