SureStore DAT24
I am getting the following error:
"Tape has been detected and tape drive started. However the tape device is not responding, check that the tape device is powered on and cables is connected"
Any one, can help.
Also where can I find the calibration utility for the same tape which I am willing to try also.
Thanks.

Re: SureStore DAT24
Could you clarify where you are seeing this error message?
Regarding calibration, there is a process using HP Library & Tape Tools (a windows-based diagnostic utility), that can recalibrate the currents for the write head, to optimize for your drive electronics, your media, and any head wear.
This process is normally done only when an HP support agent reviews your drive error logs, and feels this process could resolve the problems you are having.
Note: The Library & Tape Tools software has a device analysis test which reviews the drive error logs, and may suggest the drive be recalibrated.
We suggest you work with an HP call center if you feel your drive needs recalibration.

Re: SureStore DAT24
Ours did this yesterday! Restarting the server fixed it but if anyone comes up with a less extream solution it would be handy
