SureStore DAT40e
I just purchase a SureStore DAT40e back up driver.
I use win 2k and Tapeware back up software.
the problem is I cannot even do it works, say some tape error, terminator error.
I don't know what to do.

did you have a dedicated hostadapter?
did you speed down the transfer rate?
did you have terminated the scsi bus?
did you have stopped removable storage services?

Hi,
I had the same error when I try to hook up our external dat40 tapedevice to a win2000 machine where the adaptercard didn't support the scsi version of the tapedevice...

I have the ADAPTEC SCSI CARD 29160 and should be compatible with this driver, because before buy the driver I went on hp website and i choose the advice hp gave me.
i have to find out if is correct?
