SureStore Tape 5000
My problem is that the unit can not load or eject the tape. The tape is DG90P SONY. Is there any solution? The problem seams to be hardware.

Re: SureStore Tape 5000
Vassilis,
If the tape is jammed in the tape drive, you might have to send it in to get it repaired. If you have tried powering down the tape drive and then powering it on, and the problem persists, then contact HP support directly and instructions on how to get it repaired.

Re: SureStore Tape 5000
Hello,
Is there any nice amber lights on the tape drive? If so, the drive may be faulty or needs a cleaning cycle. Enter a cleaning tape which was previously applied for not more than 20 times.
HTH,
Vince
