Surestore 5 GB Colorado Backup II restore errors

Surestore 5 GB Colorado Backup II restore errors

When i try to restore a file from a previous backup i get the following error
An error occured reading the media
the backup device reported a unexpected error
(07-0e-23-01-0516), this is from restoring from catalog, when i try to restore from tape it gives another unknown message, the report logs says the backup has been done good until 31-05-02, i tried several tapes but they all give the message

The standard troubleshooting steps are:

Retension your tapes

Upgrade to 2.08 firmware

clear the media sensor


Give these a go first.
