Surestore 6 x40GB DDS-4
I keep getting messages saying either that I have a bad LUN (which recovers itself after a time) or that my library has a bad block (and hence cannot load the tape, but it clearly does anyway)...
Is this something I can configure/ reset/ whatever myself or is it something that requires I send it away to be repaired?
I have installed 2 other of these drives with no issues, but this one was installed by my predecessor and I have had no end of problems with it...

Re: Surestore 6 x40GB DDS-4
Hi there.
Have you checked the driver for the robot arm ?
The lun may be for the robot. Usually it is linked to one of the interfaces for the drives.
BTW, what OS ist it ?

I'm not sure there is a driver for a robot arm... I've not installed one (just for the library and for the drive...)
Sorry, forgot to mention OS...
