Surestore compatibility with win XP

Does anyone have any experience of using the surestore 6000 with Windows XP?

A friend gave me the drive but didn't have any software with it. Do I need any additional software in order to get this working with XP or is software included?

, the SureStore 6000 is not supported under Windows XP.

not supported by HP doesn't necessarily mean that it doesn't work though does it? .... it just means that HP don't want and support calls relating to an old product that they dont sell anymore?

Hi,

According to the website, you have to consult an ISV as features supported are dependant on the ISV.

According to this site:

http://www.hp.com/cgi-bin/cposupport/swindex.pl?p=hpsurestor9636&l=en&c=Driver

no drivers are available for the 6000.
