T3000 or T1000 Tape drive

Will these drives work with Windows XP or XP Professional? IF so, what software can I use?

From HP source, I found that there was no special driver developed for the HP Colorado T3000 tape drive for operation with Win2000 and XP. For Windows 9X, there will be a solution which can be obtained from verbatim corp.

Thank yopu for replying. When you say no special software, I'm guessing you mean it won't work with the XP operating system? I just through it in this system and neither the software nor Control Panel even acknowledge that it's there. Is this do to XP?

Yes, Dave.

It won't work with XP, also I did not mention that there was a driver for win NT, but as there was no suport info from Microsoft, I did not mention it.
