TCT LTO 1/8 Tape ATL Ultrium

Is there an option or a driver in HPUX that I can download that will allow me to control the tape loader? I need to control (in HPUX) when and where the tape moves to another slot.

You can use the "mc" command. See "man mc".

If you are using Data Protector there is a command called "uma" that you can use also.
