TL891Minilibrary offline
Internal Drive and Internal Library are both being shown as 'offline' in Backup Exec 10.
When HP StorageWorks Library and Tape Tools is scanning for devices, the following error occurs on the LCD screen of the Library.
FaultCode 0101
Unused Interrupt
Enter to reboot or power cycle to clear.
We re-installed the latest drivers downloaded from HP site and restarted the server however the problem persists.
Eventvwr: (Could be related)
Libxprmc - Event ID 15 - The device, \Device\Chang, is not ready for access yet.
Symc8xx - Event ID 9 - The device, \Device\Scsi\symc8xx4, did not respond within the timeout period.
Symc8xx - Event ID 11 - The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Scsi\symc8xx4.
Currnet config overview:
Windows server 2003
Backup Exec 10
TL891 Minilibrary system (10 tapes)
1 DLT internal drive (in the library).
Anyone could kindly shed some light.
Thanks - Marco

Re: TL891Minilibrary offline
Marco,
try setting to compaq defaults in
maintenance menu.
This resets the novram.
Please control all config setting after that
(SCSI, library mode etc.)
May be it works may be the problem appears
again later.
I have the same problem after firmware upgrade
to 0525.
