TZ87 from VAX to Alpha

I moved a TZ87-TA DLT drive from a VAX 4500 to and AlphaStation 200. Drive worked fine on VAX but is logging errors
on the Alpha. I did need to use a different cable. Do I need any firmware upgrades to do this? Also, how can I find out
what the model # is for proper cable. TIA

I also have one ((TZ87-TA) its a rev A03. It works fine with my Alphastation 200/233 768MB (128*6) running VMS 7.2-2.
