Tape Drive on a K-Class

Hello!

We have a Sony AIT-2 and a Sony AIT-3 drive connected to a K460 through a Single Ended card (28655A). Both drives are emulating C1533A drives. The AIT-2 works fine, but the AIT-3 gives I/O errors. I know both drives are good. Any thoughts?

it sounds like a I/O card problem, i would try another 28655A or 28642A SE card, there like 25 bucks on the used market.

I would check for patches, maybe the drive isn't supported with the current patch level?
