Solutionyes, that's possible. If you're using Data Protector for backup, you can add additional tape drives as a mirror in the properties of a backup specification. Take a look in the device section.
If you're using another backup software, please told us which software.
Best regards,
Patrick

Re: Tape library mirroring
Thanks for answer about mirroring. But i suppose the traffic will be very big, due the backup window, and to eliminate it is it possible to start backup on the first library for example at 20:00, and backup on the remote library after the first backup ends?
BR,
Max

Re: Tape library mirroring
if you Library is FC-attached the traffic will be transfered over the SAN. The data will be mirrored by the backup server, the data will not be transferred again from the backup clients.
Best regards,
Patrick

Re: Tape library mirroring
But can we implement folowing configuration:
We have 2 sites, eachsite has it's own backup server with library attached. Can we backup simpultaneously in first site and replicate this backup to the second site?
BR,
Max
