Tape library problem

Hello Managers,
it might be easy question.
I am having compaq msl5026 tape library & i have connected it to san switch & it s having MA8000 connections also, i wante dto access this tape library from TRU cluster servers but i am not able to see the device names in tru cluster server , i ahve done #hwmgr -scan scsi on one of the node but still same thing,
i will apreciate if somebody give me detailed steps for configuring this.

sorry for my english,
one more thing along with tape library i am having 1 router thro' which we are connecting library to san switch.
