Tapestorage DAT 160 SAS not seen

I am trying to configure a new ML350 G6 server. The tape drive is attached to a P212 Smart Array Controler. The ready light comes on the tape drive and it will take and eject a tape, but the computer does not find it. When When I go on the SmartStart CD in the Array Configuration Utility – Smart Array P212 in slot 2 - it indicates Tape Devices – None. I have checked the connections and still no luck.

The cable is AP747A HP SCSI INTL SAS 26PIN 4X CBL according to the invoice.
