Trakker 250
I have a legacy Colorado Trakker 250 attached to a Windows 98 PC. I downloaded various software and drivers, but I can't get the software to see the qic 80 drive. Microsoft's native backup software runs fine. I contacted HP and they told me to download tapecat from their web site, but when installing the software I get DBDA03.DLL a required dll was not found. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks,

Re: Trakker 250
Joe,
tapecat is a cataloging program. It is not a standalone backup program.
Colorado Memory Systems (now HP) did produce a win 95 / 98 tape backup program for the 250 Trakker.
Try different search engines on Trakker and you should find it. I'll try to find mine.
Good luck,
Don

Re: Trakker 250
Me again,
Go to your favorite search engine and search for CBW95.exe. This is the (Colorado) HP tape backup program for the Trakker 250. It is a self-extracting executable.
