I wnat to back up files on that server only. Nothing special, nothing across the LAN, etc.
I am trying to use Microsoft Backup (comes with 2K server) however can not seem to find the correct driver. The HP site has many listed but none seem to be the exact fit. The side of my drive says model TXXXi. I installed what windows wants to use for the drive but when I insert a tape it runs for awhile and then stops. When I go into backup the tape tools is grayed out and the app tells me there is no media. Please help
Thanks DeWayne

Re: Travan (ShureStore) T20 (internal) driver
You said you're using the native backup on Win 2k. HP recommends a 3rd party backup software. Try using Colorado Backup 2 Version 9.0. You can download from this link.
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?locale=en_USтМй=English+%28US%29&pnameOID=12433&prodSeriesId=63990&prodTypeId=12169&basePartNum=COL2294&locBasepartNum=co-10417-2&os=Microsoft+Windows+2000&tech=Application
You may also need to run diagnostics. Search for Tape Assure on HP.com and run it.
Good luck

Good luck.
