**URGENT** Question related to StorageWorks MSL2024 !!

Dear all,

I have bought HP StorageWorks MSL2024 last week as well as LTO4 Ultrium 1840 media tape.

What I need to know is how would you configure the Backup Software to make them "Human Readable" ? Would any one able to provide me with any links which explains this please ?

Regarding your question, I meant to say printing note or sentence on the tape which can be read by human !! hope this explanation is clear now.

It depends on the backup software for example on Data Protector Express you can format the media and assigned a name fot the tape cartridge what you need to do next is fiscally label the media with the same name.
