USB DAT 160 Intermittent Problem

Equipment: ML350G5 and USB DAT160
OS: Windows 2003 Server SP2
Backup is being done using NTBackup thru Win 2003 server. On several occassions the backup is not done as per the schedule preset.
Is there a known issue with these USB DAT 160 as we are having the same problem on 3 different sites.

But do you get an error saying why the backup was not done?

If you launch the backup manually it it done?

Install L&TT and run a diagnosis of the drive.

Thanks for your response.
1. No error message- just stop or not starting when scheduling
2. When run manually the back up is done
3. Has run LTT - no apparent problem - has also update to latest firmware

Also has installed Symantec Backup exe but has got the same problem.
