Ultium 1/9 Autoloader

Have surestore 1/9 autoloader w/ ultrium drive connected to a Sun Blade150 solaris 2.8. Am able to backup to the drive OK, but restores degrade and finally crater. Jukebox just sits hung with no error messages.

Is there a solaris patch or firmware upgrade needed?
