Ultrium 230 Loading/Unloading Problems
Hi,
The drive no longer accepts any tapes, it simply doesn't 'pull' them into the drive. Pressing eject causes it to go through the motions of ejecting a tape several times before it stops, even though there is no tape present. This happens on power-on also.
I suspect the drive thinks there is still a tape in it even though there is not as on the diagnostic logs it says that a tape (and gives the serial number) is having trouble being ejecting.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
-- Geoff.
