Ultrium 230e & K Class ( FW SCSI )

Hi,

Can I connect the LTO Utrium 230e ( LVD ) with a K Class ( FW SCSI ).

Exist any connect for this connection?

The FW SCSI buses on K-boxes is HVD SCSI and is absolutely not compatible. You should be able to connect the devices using an HVD/LVD SCSI bus convertor. One source for this device is Blackbox Corp.

Hello Andre

The two replys above are correct. But....

You can do the conversion and share the LTO with other host systems as well. The others can be any mix of LVD, HVD, SE or Fibre Channel.
