Ultrium 448 giving write protected error in AIX
Hi all,
I just configured an HP ultrium 448 external tape drive in a AIX 5.3 Server.
But back up is not working.
tar -tvf /dev/rmt0 giving the error
tar: 0511-169 A directory checksum error on media,0 not equal to 24866.
mksysb -iev /dev/rmt0 giving following error
0512-017 mksysb:cannot write to the device /dev/rmto Either write protected or in use.
Please suggest us ,whether i need to install any HP driver for this tape.
