Ultrium 960 cleaning frequency

Just wondering if anyone knows what the recommended cleaning frequency is for the Ultrium 960? I am using Veritas Backup Exec and it runs a clean with every inventory. I inventory about once a week and do daily backups. Thanks for any info

No recommended period. The recommended is to clean it ONLY when indicated by the cleaning LED in the drive.

It is even better to power cycle the drive before inserting a cleaning cartridge and avoid to clean the drive if the LED goes off after power cycling. If the LED still ON after power cycled then it is time to clean.
