Hi,

Which version of firmware is on the LTO? Also which version of the LTFS you are using?

For LTFS to work, you need to have the LTFS enable firmware.

Re: Ultrium LTO 3280 SAS

You don't say which HBA you are using. The P212/ZM Smart Array controller is not supported with LTFS and does not work with LTFS. You must have a P212/256 or some other controller.

Re: Ultrium LTO 3280 SAS

The controller information doesn't say which specific P410i you are using. I went and checked that controller and the base version of the P410i is a zero memory and will have the same limitation as the P212. You must have at least a 256MB cache.

The information you post just listed several of the variations of the P410i and didn't say which one you have. You can check during boot up - it will list the size of the cache memory if one is installed.

You should also be using at least version 1.01 of the LTFS driver.
