Unable to access HP StorageWorks LTO-4 Ultrium 1840 SAS Tape Drive form ntbackup utility
I have installed my newly purchased HP StorageWorks LTO-4 Ultrium 1840 SAS Tape Drive on DL180 Server with Windows Server 2003 but unable to view tape drive in "select the backup type" option of 'ntbackup' it is showing the option of "file" only. It seems that ntbackup is unable to load tape drive. I have checked the Hardware details and it shows that Tape dirve is properly configured.

Do you see the Tape Drive on Device Manager ?
Why do you use ntbackup ? your tape drive should have come with dpe.
