Hi
When trying to update the firmware with HP-UX version of LTT I get the following error:
Firmware update failed
Exception: Application Exception 1020 (Logical Device: non-fatal I/O failure, function will continue)
Exception: I/O Exception (Sense Key: 5, Sense Code: 0x2000 - 'Invalid Command Operation Code')
Both LTT and the firmware is the latest version.
I have no Windows host connected to this router so I can't try the Windows version of LTT.
Anyone who has seen this problem before ?
Another question. As mentioned in the e1200 users guide, it should be possible to update the router firmware using ftp but this method need a .dlx fimware file. The firmware file in the LTT software bundle is .frm . Where do I get a .dlx file.

Re: Updating firmware on e1200 router.
Hello Leif,
Did you also try the possibility to use the E1200 webpage.
- Utilities, FTP Utility.
You only need to know the ip address, username, password and .dlx firmware file.
With regards,
Otto Warlich

Re: Updating firmware on e1200 router.
Hi,
Thank you.
It seems as the reason for my problem was that the new version of LTT was not compatible with the old firmware. Updating using ftp worked but after updating, mapping becoms corrupted. I had to create a new map befor everything was OK..
Thank you.
