Upgrading MLS4048 using USB - unable to detect

Everytime I push the selection By USB it gives the message "Insert USB Device". Have tried reinserting it but to no avail. Reboot - same message.

Two different USB.

Have extract the file to the USB. Does not even go to the next menu to select target or file.

Thanks for the help.

You can also use the network or LTT.

What filesystem on your USB stick? What file?

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: Upgrading MLS4048 using USB - unable to detect

I notice the light above the USB port is blinking but I've checked the logs and there's nothing to indicate there's an error.

The files extracted out are:

1. LT0_1760_U51W_MSL-G3-Series.frm
2. LT0_1760_W51W_MSL-G3-Series.frm
3. LTO_1840_B56W_MSL-G3-Series.frm
4. LTO_1840_H58W_MSL-G3-Series.frm
5. LTO_232_P63W_MSL-G3-Series.frm
6. LTO_448_S63W_MSL-G3-Series.frm
7. LTO_920_C25W_MSL-G3-Series.frm
8. LTO_920_D23W_MSL-G3-Series.frm
9. LTO_920_Q25W_MSL-G3-Series.frm
10. LTO_960_G63W_MSL-G3-Series.frm
11. LTO_960_L63W_MSL-G3-Series.frm
12. LTO_960_M63W_MSL-G3-Series.frm
13. ltt_msl_g2_g3_nov09.xml
14. MSL2024_1.91.frm
15. MSL2024_4.70.frm
16. MSL4048_7.00.frm
17. MSL8096_9.60.frm
18. MSL_1x8_G2_2.80.frm

But I guess, I will only need the MSL4048_7.00.frm

I have formatted the USB to be NTFS.
Will give the FAT a try now and see if that's the case.

Hey Torsten.,
Yeah its the filesystem alright.
FAT32 works good. Not NTFS.

Thanks for the help.
10 points to you.
