Veritas Backup Exec 8.5 using random tape

When using Backup Exec and a full cartridge of blank media or media set as "scratch media" with no overwrite protection enabled, B.E. will randomly use a tape instead of pulling the next available scratch media (should be slot 0). Does anyone know how to correct that?

Currently, support for Digital Alpha and higher-end Storageworks products is not on this forum. If you are in the US or Canada, call 1-800-354-9000.
