(Weird !!!) Data Protector Express
Hi all,
I've configured and setup the Data Protector Express
Everything is running fine...until few days ago
My client complaint that the "tape" will auto eject [The backup schedule run on 6pm daily; he'/she will insert a tape at 10am, and the tape will auto eject at 3pm (randomly time)]
I've tried to checked the configuration /setting part, but failure to found any answer for it.
Have replaced it with a new tape, but still getting same result
The frustrated things is it only happen once in the blue moon
Do anyone here facing the same issue? Or is that I've wrongly configure the DPE?
Thanks in advance
Melvin,

Re: (Weird !!!) Data Protector Express
Hi,
Normally this is not the regular way of working with DPX..
If In a pirtucular backup job this is happening, then i will recommand to check the backup job setup. In the backup job properties --> Job options --> advanced options --> Options --> check if the check box " auto eject " is checked. Uncheck if it is done.
By default it is not checked
Hope this helps..!!
Regards
Raj
