What's the emplcement of library firmware

Hello every body,

I have an HP SureStore Tape Library 2/20 with two DLT-8000 drivers and I'm looking for their firmware.

Could you tell me where can I found the latest release about this.

If you are using HP Library & Tape Tools (www.hp.com/support/tapetools) you can just use File -> Get Files from web, and it can grab firmware automatically from our ftp server.

(And then use LTT to update the library & drive firmware).

You can use the Web interface to download, but I would recommend to use LTT (library and tape tools).

hi,

download the latest version of library and tape tools from hp's website

run this and this will tell you if there is a newer firmware available for both the controller and the mechs. You can also download the firmware direct from hp's site through the software.

this is the prefered method to do the updates and ensures you get the right one.

You normally update the controllers first aswell.

You need to first download the Library & tape Tool ( LTT ) , Then just install it on windows or Unix systems.

Run this it will tell u the latest firmware of your product & when u install it u will det a directory called firmware & it contains lot of firmware , If your product firmware is not there , then just download it from itrc.hp.com
