Will StorageWorks Autoloader 1/8 VS80 work with GS140/VMS 7.3-1?

Will the HP StorageWorks Autoloader 1/8 VS80 (C9264CB) work with our existing AlphaServer GS140 running VMS 7.3-1? If so, can we connect to the same adapter as our current Table Top TZ89's are connect to?
