Will other brand's tape drive works in MSL G3 series libraries?

    Recently I've got a good quantum LTO-6 FC HH drive,PN 9-03819-01. I wonder will it works in MSL 2024 libraries? I've checked the HPE StoreEver Compatibility Matrix but it shows nothing concerned. 

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

No, it will have quantum F/W on it

@jiaolovekt, Only HPE branded LTO tape drives will be supported in HPE libraries. The drive carrier is mated with the drive and aligned at the factory and should not be removed from a drive in the field. Also, the library firmware will not allow a non-HPE drive to power up - this is because of drive hardware and firmware differences. LTO drives will also not allow the loading of a different vendor's drive firmware because of these differences. While the data written to LTO media is interchangeable between drives from different vendors, the drives themselves are not interchangeable.
