XP ON HP....

I've an HP DV 2601 TU...........and ive just installed win xp........cOnfigured the boot loader using vistabootpro,i've managed to install the vga driver but i cannot install the sound driver.....i've googled on the net for answers and it say's you need ms uaa....fine got that ..........but it too gives me an error while installing.............i've been trying tis for days...............HELP
