...an over force detected
Hallo.
After some time of work with a new drive the library failed again. No more action is possible, after every action the message appears "Transport failed to find translate home. Translate control system detected an over force".
We have SureStore library and Ultrium-1 drives.
Can You please give some advice what might be going wrong. It seems that the couse is autochanger.
Thanks in advance!

Re: ...an over force detected
Hello
It appears that your picker assembly is having trouble completing the inventory. I would suggest opening the library door to see if there are any tapes blocking the path of the picker. I would also suggest attempting a recalibrate library command from the administration, run test menu. I would then suggest flashing the firmware for the library.
Hope this helps :)

Thanks for your answer,
but it seems that recalibration does not go at all. I think we must replace autochanger.

Hi Martins
If you call 1800 474 6836 and say "DLT", a case can be started. If the autoloader is in warranty, you may be entitled to a replacement.
Hope this Helps :)
