broken leader tape

Hi,

The leader tape of my Compaq DLT 20/40 is broken. Does anyone know how I can get a new one. I have already taken the old one out, that's easy. Local repair says I have to buy a new drive ($1550) and the leader tape looks like a $2,- item!
