can HP surestore DAT40 be used by IBM AIX?Where can I get the driver?

Yes, you can use it on AIX (see http://h18006.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/11883_div/11883_div.html ).

Just run 'cfgmgr' when the tape drive is connected to the IBM server, you do need to install any special drivers for it. You can verify if the tape is detected with 'lsdev -Cc tape'
